SP Music Management work as UK Publicist for the Parralox ‘Electric Nights’ & ‘Paradise’ single releases.

Melbourne based electronic pop trailblazers Parralox released their single ‘Electric Nights’ on November 24th, 2017 and SP Music Management were proud to run the UK PR campaign for the release. The track, which appears on the band’s current album ‘Subculture’, took the Parralox sound into a poppier territory – one which fans of Lady Gaga and Corona may find familiar, while the accompanying video channelled the iconic movie ‘Tron’.

Parralox recently headlined at Silicon Dreams Festival (Royal Philharmonic Liverpool) and then a few months later headlined again at Synthetic City London Festival 2017. Parralox have already been booked to perform in New York, Baltimore and Berlin in 2018.

The CD/Download release of ‘Electric Nights’ was accompanied by remixes of the track by 7th Heaven, Pete Hammond (Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley, Bananarama, Dead Or Alive), Vinny Vero and Steve Migliore, Bluepint, Tobias Bernstrup and many more.

“Electric Nights” won the Best Dance Song when performed by Roxy, in the Music Oz Australian Independent Awards and was voted song of the year by the Poptastic Confessions music blog.

John von Ahlen, under the guise of Parralox, has remixed artists such as Erasure, Marcella Detroit, Doctor and the Medics, Polly Scattergood, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Owen Paul, Julia Fordham Stemz, Hollywood Beyond and many more.

The next single for Parralox is ‘Paradise’ feat Marcella Detroit. Marcella Detroit was one half of the international pop group Shakespears Sister. The single was released on the 30th November 2018.

Parralox are currently writing and recording their new album which will be titled ‘Genesis’, and due for release in 2019.

The band, fronted by mega-talented rising producer John von Ahlen, have had an impressive career so far. Since 2008, they have released seven accomplished albums, gaining support and acclaim from an incredibly broad range of blogs and cultural commentators. The band topped several charts in 2015, 2016 and 2017 – including a top 5 position in the official US Dance Charts.
